Aerostar The Ted Smith Aerostar is renowned world- wide for its speed. It is the single fastest production piston-engine aircraft ever built. They are utilised by both private and commercial operators for long distance travel. With a cruising speed of over 400 km/h, this is by far Broome's fastest light aircraft. With the low operating cost of piston engines, and such high speed, light aircraft travel has never been so efficient for Broome customers. It's pressurised cabin is spacious by comparison, and allows cruise at altitudes well above turbulence and in far cooler air. Its all- weather cockpit allows flights through almost all weather conditions. On the ground, multiple air blowers make those hot days that much easier to handle.
